AAPT 2013 Student Poster Session

The AAPT 2013 Annual Meeting and Technical Session included a Student Poster Session. This program was a great success. There were 33 poster abstracts submitted and 15 were chosen to be presented. The posters were available throughout the 2013 Annual Meeting and Technical Sessions in Denver, Colorado. The AAPT Student Poster Session is a valuable opportunity for student authors to present ongoing or completed research and meet with interested AAPT members for in-depth technical discussion. (Copies of the posters and abstracts are available by following the individual links below or all the abstracts can be viewed here.) The posters were judged by a selection of AAPT members and the winner was:

"Effects of Asphalt Mix Design Parameters on Pavement Cracking Performance"
Chelsea Hanson, Eshan V. Dave; University of MN - Duluth

and

"Effect of Graphite Types on Imparting Electrical Conductivity in Asphalt Composites"
Aishwarya Baranikumar, Abdul Kabbara, Philip Park; Texas A&M University

The 15 posters that were presented are:
