About
On January 17, 1924 a small group of engineers met in Chicago, Illinois to establish an association for consideration of the technology of asphalt paving. Since then, the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists has grown from its original 19 charter members to the present roster of over 800 members from every continent in the world.

AAPT 2013 Annual Meeting
Make your plans now to attend the 88th Annual Meeting at the Westin Denver Downtown April 7-10, 2013. It's not too early to complete your meeting registration and lock in your hotel room. The 5th Conference of the European Asphalt Technology Association will take place in the city of Braunschweig, Germany, June 3-5, 2013 . Registration is available here. Please note that the early bird fee ends on March 31, 2013.

RILEM Pre-Conference Workshop on Digital Image Correlation Techniques
All AAPT Annual Meeting attendees are invited to participate in a free pre-conference workshop on the latest techniques for using digital imaging correlation to investigate strain fields and cracking in asphalt materials. Sponsored by RILEM Technical Committee 241-MCD, the workshop will be held on Sunday, April 7, from 8:30 a.m. to Noon in the Westin Downtown Hotel in Denver. The AAPT is proud to offer a scholarship to a student earning an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or civil engineering. 2013 Annual Meeting

The three day annual technical meeting of AAPT is held in the spring every year, and includes asphalt related technical sessions, symposium, and workshops. This year's 88th Annual Meeting will be held from April 7-10, 2013 at the Westin Downtown in Denver, CO. For more information click here.

Annual Journal
First published in 1928, the Journal is a widely referenced and prestigious source of literature in the field of asphalt paving technology. The Journals are unique in that they contain, in addition to formal presentations, the oral and written discussions of papers presented at Annual Meeting technical sessions and symposia.
