About
On January 17, 1924 a small group of engineers met in Chicago, Illinois to establish an association for consideration of the technology of asphalt paving. Since then, the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists has grown from its original 19 charter members to the present roster of over 800 members from every continent in the world.

2016 Annual Meeting

The three day annual technical meeting of AAPT is held in the spring every year, and includes asphalt related technical sessions, symposium, and workshops. This year's 91th Annual Meeting will be held March 13-16, 2016 at the The Westin Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN. For more information click here.

Annual Journal
First published in 1928, the Journal is a widely referenced and prestigious source of literature in the field of asphalt paving technology. The Journals are unique in that they contain, in addition to formal presentations, the oral and written discussions of papers presented at Annual Meeting technical sessions and symposia.
